FodyLiner washable suede liner – Innovative, practical and stain-resistant

The FodyLiner washable suede liner was designed to simplify the cleaning of Berceau® washable nappies . Its soft and breathable texture acts as an effective barrier between baby's skin and the absorbent insert, while also making rinsing and daily care easier.

An ingenious innovation: reversible suede

The Fodyliner stands out thanks to its unique system: it turns inside out when soiled to form a pocket that traps stool . This innovation allows you to clean the diaper without direct contact with the material, while preventing stubborn stains on the inserts. A simple, clean, and hygienic solution for more stress-free diaper changes.

A technical, soft and breathable fabric

Made from breathable suede , the Fodyliner offers a naturally dry feel and optimal comfort. Its smooth surface allows dirt to slide off without trapping it, while maintaining good air circulation. Baby stays dry and comfortable, even after several hours of use.

Simplified and sustainable maintenance

Resistant to repeated washing, the Fodyliner retains its softness and effectiveness over time. It rinses easily in clean water before machine washing (40 to 60°C). Its technical design extends the life of your washable inserts by protecting them from stains and creams.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Veils for washable diapers: Dryveil & disposables

1. What is the difference between a washable Dryveil veil and a disposable veil?

The washable Dryveil (Coolmax) is a breathable, very thin and soft technical fabric that fits between baby's skin and the insert. It lets moisture through but keeps bottoms dry, while retaining stools.

The disposable veil , for its part, is a single-use biodegradable paper which facilitates the collection of stools, especially when traveling.

2. What are sails for and how to use them?

The liners, whether washable or disposable, are placed directly inside the diaper , above the absorbent insert. They are used to collect stools and protect the diaper from dirt, making maintenance easier.

When changing, simply remove the veil:

– If it is disposable, throw it away (in the trash, not in the toilet).

– If it is washable, shake the stools in the toilet if necessary, then put it in the dirty area with the diapers.

3. Can the two types of sails be combined?

Yes, and it's actually a great strategy. You can use washable veils at home, and keep the disposable veils for outings, trips, or days when you want to save time.

4. Does Dryveil hold stools well?

Yes, it is designed to allow urine to pass through while retaining solid stools. In case of very soft stools, rinsing may be necessary before washing.

5. Can I combine the two types of sails?

Absolutely. Many parents use washable veils on a daily basis, and reserve disposable veils for daycare, outings, or as needed at the time. Everyone has their own solution, depending on their own schedule and preferences.

6. Are they suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes! All our veils are designed to be soft, breathable, and non-irritating to baby's skin, minimizing the risk of rash or discomfort.

7. How long does Dryveil last?

With proper maintenance, our inserts can last for several years, around 6 years , thus offering an economical and ecological solution for parents.

How to use it?

1. Washable sails (Dryveil Coolmax)

Simply place the Dryveil inside the diaper, directly against baby's skin. It lies flat over the absorbent insert.

When changing diapers, if there are any stools, you can shake them out in the toilet. Then, place the cover with the dirty diapers while waiting to be washed. It can be machine washed at 40 or 60°C, without fabric softener. It dries quickly in the open air.

How to wash properly?

1. How to wash Dryveil?

Washing : at 60°C maximum , with a glycerin-free detergent to avoid clogging the fibers.

Drying : preferably in the open air . Avoid tumble drying , which could damage the fibers and reduce their effectiveness.

2. What detergent should I use to wash Dryveil washable sails?

A suitable detergent for clean washable sails

To maintain the effectiveness of washable baby inserts:

🔹 Use a mild detergent , without glycerin, perfume or fabric softener.
🔹 Use powder detergent , which is more effective against residue.
🔹 Avoid fabric softeners , which clog the absorption of the inserts.
🔹 Run two wash cycles in Cotton mode for optimal cleaning.

With the right detergent, your washable sails will stay performing wash after wash! 💦

3. How do I store my sails before washing?

To avoid unpleasant odors and optimize the maintenance of your absorbent inserts:

Do not leave them soaking in water.

Store them in a ventilated basket .

Wash them every 2 to 3 days.

With these precautions, your inserts will remain fresh, efficient and ready to be reused.
