Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to your questions

1. How to adjust the diaper correctly?

A good fit is essential to prevent leaks and ensure baby's comfort.

The diaper should reach below the belly button. The excess fabric should be pulled up so that the elastics are firmly pressed against the thighs. You should be able to fit one hand between your belly and the diaper. Whether it's a snap or Velcro diaper, the elastics should be placed inward, in the groin or further away, as long as the waterproof fabric is firmly pressed over it. At the back, the diaper should come up to the top of the buttocks, or even a little higher if possible.

The adjustment is the same for newborns and for evolving models.

2. What to do in case of leaks?

Leaks always have an identifiable cause. Here are some tips for solving them.

If the insert is saturated, add an additional insert to increase absorbency. Place the fast-absorbing material, such as modal, closest to the baby, and place a more absorbent material such as bamboo or hemp underneath. Also, check that the insert is centered in the crib.

3. What solution for the night?

For nighttime use, we recommend one or two modal inserts. For even more comfort and performance, you can use our Flexinest bassinet or our Lunéa night diaper, which will be available soon.

4. What to do if you are outside without a clean diaper?

If you're on the go and run out of clean diapers, there are several troubleshooting solutions.

You can use a clean cloth, a small hand towel, or a couple of washcloths as an insert, as long as the baby hasn't had a bowel movement. If the diaper is soiled, rinse it, then place a clean insert directly into the crib. This can be a good snooze while you wait to go home.

You can also plan to have a clean diaper and an insert left in the car at all times, in the shade, under a seat or in the trunk.

5. How to organize outings?

It's recommended to always carry a waterproof bag with you to store used diapers. Prepare a few pre-assembled diapers with inserts in advance to save time. A spare diaper in the car can also be very useful.

6. How to extend the life of diapers?

Always close the Velcro tabs on their flaps before washing and when slipping the diaper under your baby. This prevents them from getting caught on anything, damaging the elastics, or hurting your baby. Lay your diapers out in the shade to avoid damaging the fabrics. Don't add too much thickness to the inside of the diaper; this isn't necessary with our high-performance inserts and can hinder your child's motor skills. Always check that the insert is positioned correctly in the center of the diaper in the crib.
