Washing recommendations

  • Recommended washing cycle: two cotton cycles : 30°C then 40°C
  • Do not iron
  • No laundering
  • Spread out in the open air
  • Avoid using the tumble dryer (preserves the fabrics)

The 60°C cycle is recommended in professional settings, or to be reserved for occasional use during infectious episodes or situations requiring enhanced hygiene.

  • 6 diaper pack: 6 diapers + 20 inserts
  • 12 diaper pack: 12 diapers + 40 inserts

How many washable nappies are needed for full-time use?

To be 100% washable, you generally need between 18 and 25 diapers, with washing every 2 to 3 days.

  • 3-layer pack: ideal for testing
  • 6-layer pack: a solid foundation for beginners
  • 12-diaper pack: a truly complete pack
Are the included inserts sufficient?

Yes. Each pack contains the number of inserts needed to ensure efficient rotation.

However, it is possible to supplement with other inserts (Doux'Plis, Bambelis or Absorb6) in order to adapt the absorbency to the specific needs of the baby and to avoid running out between two washes.
How to use Berceau washable nappies?

It is easy to use and takes place in three steps:

  1. Place an insert in the layer
  2. Add a veil if needed
  3. Adjust the pressure according to the baby's body shape
