FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our washable absorbent inserts

1. What materials are used for your inserts?

What materials are used in your inserts?

We select natural and technical materials, designed to combine comfort, performance and easy maintenance:

  • Doux'Plis : composed of 2 layers of modal (top and bottom, for softness and quick drying) and 3 layers of bamboo (in the core, for generous absorption).
  • Absorb6 : Made with 6 layers of ultra-absorbent bamboo fibers , perfect for maximum capacity and long-lasting hold.
  • Duofit : insert to fold in 3, made of 2 layers of bamboo for effective absorption, with a Coolmax side which keeps baby's skin dry.
  • Bambelis : insert to fold in 3, made of 4 layers of bamboo viscose for optimal absorption, with a Coolmax side for a dry effect.

Why these materials?

  • Modal : fiber made from wood pulp, ultra-soft, breathable and quick-drying.
  • Bamboo / bamboo viscose : known for its high absorption capacity and resistance.
  • Cotton : strong, breathable and absorbent (used in some versions of complementary inserts).
  • Coolmax : technical textile that provides a real dry effect and improves baby's comfort.
2. What is special about each model?

Soft'Plis

Ultra-soft, breathable and exceptionally supple, Doux'Plis combines comfort and effectiveness. Thin and discreet, it absorbs quickly and reaches up to 300 ml once broken in . Ideal for daytime use, it can also be used at night in combination with Doux'Boost , offering one of the thinnest and most comfortable solutions on the market.

Absorb6

Designed with 6 layers of bamboo , the Absorb6 remains surprisingly thin while guaranteeing optimal absorption of around 160 ml . It is an excellent booster to increase the capacity of diapers, especially for older children or during naps.

DuoFit

Thanks to its dual bamboo + Coolmax technology , the DuoFit combines rapid absorption and effective retention. With a capacity of approximately 200 ml , it folds in three and offers a slim and efficient solution, perfectly suited to babies from 3–6 kg .

Bambelis

Versatile and adaptable, the Bambelis is made of 4 layers of bamboo viscose that fold into three. It absorbs generously while remaining supple, and its Coolmax side provides a truly dry effect on baby's skin. An ideal solution for active days and longer nights.

Doux'Boost (booster)

Specially designed to increase absorption, Doux'Boost is made up of 2 layers of bamboo and 1 layer of microfiber , covered with a micro-fleece side for a dry effect . To be used in addition to an insert, it provides increased comfort for nights or heavy wetters.

3. Should the inserts be washed before first use?

Yes, we recommend washing each insert 2 to 3 times before first use. This helps maximize absorbency. You can also open the fibers by soaking them in cold water for a few hours.

4. Can we use your inserts with other brands of washable diapers?

Yes! Our inserts are compatible with most cloth diapers , including those from other brands.

5. Are they suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes! All our inserts are designed to be soft, breathable, and non-irritating to baby's skin, minimizing the risk of rash or discomfort.

6. What is the lifespan of an insert?

With proper maintenance, our inserts can last for several years, around 6 years , thus offering an economical and ecological solution for parents.

How to use it?

1. How often should the insert be changed?

It depends on the model and the baby's age

Absorb6 : Ideal for the day, absorbs between 2 and 4 hours .

Doux'plis : Can last all night for babies who wet a lot.

Duofit : Intermediate absorption, perfect for mixed day/night use, addition of an absorbent possible.

2. How many inserts should I use per diaper?

For an infant, a single insert is sufficient. As the baby grows, simply upgrade to a more absorbent insert or add an additional one.

For a bigger baby or extended use ( night, nap, long outing ), you can combine a Doux'plis with an Absorb6 or a Duofit for more absorbency.

How do I wash my absorbent inserts?

1. How to properly maintain inserts?

Washing : at 60°C maximum , with a glycerin-free detergent to avoid clogging the fibers.
