FAQs

We have compiled answers to the questions that parents most often ask to help you navigate this process with peace of mind.

Everything you need to know about the Bambelis insert

What is the purpose of a disposable liner for a washable nappy?

The disposable liner for washable nappies is placed between the baby's skin and the absorbent insert.

It facilitates stool removal, protects inserts from stains, and greatly simplifies the daily routine.

This is a particularly popular solution:

  • while traveling,
  • at the nanny's or in a daycare center,
  • for parents who want a quick and clean diaper change.
How to use a disposable liner with a washable nappy

To use a disposable liner for a washable diaper:

  1. Place a sheet directly onto the absorbent insert.
  2. Put on the washable diaper as usual.

Depending on the use:

  • In case of urine, the veil can be rinsed and washed again occasionally;
  • In the event of defecation, the veil is simply thrown in the trash.

Disposable liners are compatible with all washable diapers and absorbent inserts, including TE2 diapers, bamboo inserts, boosters and nighttime systems.

Are disposable veils suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Disposable liners for washable nappies are ultra-thin, soft, and designed without harsh components.

However, they do not provide a dry effect : a feeling of dampness may therefore be felt by some babies.

In the most sensitive skin, this prolonged humidity can sometimes lead to the appearance of small red patches or slight pimples .

In this case, it is recommended to favour a washable stay-dry effect liner , such as the Fodyliner or the Dryveil , in order to limit contact with moisture and improve baby's comfort.

Can disposable veils be flushed down the toilet?

No.

Even though they are thin and soft, disposable liners for washable nappies should never be flushed down the toilet.

They should only be thrown into the household waste bin to avoid any risk of blocked drains.

How many disposable face coverings should be used per day?

On average, you need between 6 and 8 disposable liners per day for a baby in cloth diapers.

A roll of 100 sheets therefore allows for use over several weeks, depending on the changing schedule.
